Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be provided when cancellations are made at least 21 days or more prior to the scheduled class commencement date, with a $60 administration fee to cover the cost of providing catering, supplies, room hire and/or trying to find a replacement couple.

Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to the scheduled class will only be considered for medical reasons and where Ballarat Childbirth Education is unable to provide an alternative course prior to the clients estimated due date. A medical certificate may be requested but this will be on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds will not be provided for non-medical related cancellations within the 1-21 days’ prior to the class commencement date, Ballarat Childbirth Education will make every effort to provide an alternative date for clients to do the course but this may not always be possible.

When unforeseen cancellation in required on behalf of Ballarat Childbirth Education, they will work with couples registered for that class to reschedule or provide a full refund to couples that are unable to attend a rescheduled or alternative class.

It is our aim at Ballarat Childbirth Education to be fair and reasonable when assessing cancellation/refund requests and we expect the same from our clients.
